A Perfect Pairing

If you’ve been looking for the next steps to take on your aviation journey, look no further. CRAFT is proud to announce we’re teaming up with Purdue Global University to give our students and employees an even better learning experience than the one we already offer. Students seeking to earn their Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Flight will gain college credit for their flight training as well as tuition discounts. Even if you’re pursuing a degree not related to aviation, you’ll still be eligible for tuition discounts through this partnership. Those seeking an undergraduate degree can take advantage of a 20% discount on tuition, and those going for a graduate degree would receive a 14% discount. To enroll in Purdue Global University and take advantage of these benefits, you just need your Private Pilot Certificate and to be enrolled as a CRAFT student.

100% Online, from the comfort of your own home

If you’re unfamiliar, Purdue Global University is a 100% online institute that allows you to pursue the curriculum you want from the comfort of your own home. With a learning experience that’s personalized and affordable, Purdue Global University is formatted to integrate with your daily lifestyle. While Purdue does offer a degree in Aviation, other fields of study include, but are not limited to Information Technology, Business, and Human Services. There’s no limit to the education you can pursue that will aid you in becoming an even better pilot and make you a more desirable candidate in your aviation career. The Professional Flight program is especially advantageous to those looking to complete Private, Instrument, and Commercial, CFI, and Multi-engine training in less than 12 months, ensuring you’re on the fast track to completing your training.

A Bachelor Degree is required at most major airlines

Since a Bachelor Degree is required for pilots at most major airlines, taking advantage of this opportunity will get you one step closer to becoming a commercial airline pilot.

Save Time and Money on your degree

In just 2.5-3 years, you’d save about $28,437 on your Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Flight. When completing all five flight certificates, you’ll receive 45 credits from Purdue Global University –  the equivalent of a whole year of college credits, saving you about $18,420. You can also apply for Title IV Federal Financial Aid. Should you qualify, you’ll be able to receive loans and grants to help pay for your education.

While this partnership will not qualify you for Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (R-ATP), obtaining the Private-CFI certificates, working as a full-time instructor, and completing your curriculum allows you to get paid to build the 1500 flight hours needed and earn your Bachelors degree at the same time. With our program, you’re on the fast track to starting your career.

Because Purdue Global University is 100% online, students will seamlessly integrate their full-time careers as flight instructors. This setup allows them to build hours towards ATP and get paid to fly while completing their Purdue Global University courses by taking 2 or 3 online classes per 10-week term.

If you have existing college credits or flight training, transferring it in will allow you to obtain your degree even faster. Upgrade your Associate’s degree to a Bachelors’s degree!
